KIDS EVENTS

At the High Country Stampede Rodeo, we specialize in fun! Fun for kids of all ages, 2 to 80. We have two events specifically for children, Mutton Bustin’ and Sheep Scramble.

Mutton Bustin’ – Sign up is located in the pavilion. Sign up begins at 5:00pm the day of the rodeo. Waivers must be signed. We do have a 20 child limit, so we recommend signing up when you arrive at the rodeo. We love our sheep, so there is a 50 pound limit for the kids! Everyone wears a helmet and receives a ribbon.

Sheep Scramble – For kids 6-12 years old. Waiver must be signed by parent and kids will need a stamp on their hand. Sign up begins at 5:00pm and is located in the pavilion. We let sheep with bandanas tied around their neck loose in the arena. When Bennie, our rodeo clown extraordinaire, gives the signal, those who get a bandana win a prize.
